Jan 2014: Ben presented and taught a mini-class at the Spartanburg Regional Center for Health and Healing -- "The Mind-Body Connection through African Drumming".

 

Nov 2014: Ben, Piri and Susan played dunun as back-up for BOLOKADA CONDE at the Anderson University West African Ensemble semester performance.

 

Jan 2015: Ben's Intermediate class performed at New Day Clubhouse in Spartanburg. Thanks to Page and Susan for backing us up!

 

Feb 2015: Phew! What a busy month! The Intermediate class (Angel, Lise, Mirie and Philip) performed at Christ Church Epsicopal School's International Food Festival. Alisa Caldwell and the Elements Of Rhythm dancers also performed and I think the audience really enjoyed themselves!

Then, we rocked the house at Rolling Green Village retirement community. What a blast! So glad Piri and Lilian could join us for that one.

 

Feb 22, 2015: The Spectacular Spartanburg drum class had the whole UU church dancing to their fantastic performance of Sinte. I'm so proud of you drummers :)
